Community Hospice payment information

Here you will find basic information on payment for terminal-illness home healthcare through Community Hospice.

Medicare Hospice Benefit (Medicare A) and Medicaid cover the services described on this website. Many private insurances also cover hospice services. Check your policy and check with your carrier.

If you are a veteran, the VA also covers hospice care, similarly to Medicare.

According to medicare.gov, when Medicare covers your hospice care with us, it covers everything related to your illness. You can always choose to end hospice care and go back to curative treatments, but while you are in our care, Medicare will not cover such treatments nor emergency-room visits related to your illness.
